Brook is known as the “King of Souls. He is the ninth member of the crew and the eighth to join. He is a musician and one of the two swordsmen of the Straw Pirates. He is usually eccentric and outgoing. He is well behaved and often dresses like a gentleman. He wears a yellow-orange lined coat, black pants, and an afro. He ties a blue tie around his neck. But his clothes are tattered, for he has been all alone for years: no one mends his clothes or takes care of him. His devil fruit is Yomi Yomi No Mi. In the Florian Triangle, Brooke bumps into Tausend Sonny. Luffy, Nami, and Sanji. They hear him singing and board his ship. As eccentric as the character is, he greets them nicely. After the Straw Hat Pirates’ victory over Gekko Moria, they throw a party. Brooke shares his thoughts on the Rumba Pirates and speaks of his intention to reunite with Labun.
